This Multi-hosetail Reducer connects common garden hose sizes to pumps with BSP threaded outlets.
Comes in two different sizes to fit either 1" or 1.25" threaded outlets.
Both hose tail adaptors fit hoses of 1", 3/4" and 1/2". The hose is simply pushed onto the Adapter to the diameter that fits. Make sure you push the hose over the "ribbed" profile of the step. This will hold the hose securely in place.
The 1.25" is required for the Garden Steelpump outlet.
PTFE tape or a similar sealant should be used on the thread, particularly for powerful higher pressure pumps.
