Product Description
150L Vase Shaped Water Butt with Integral Planter
Free Delivery Mainland UK.
These decorative water butts are perfect for homes or business units with their highly stylish, crisp, sharp and elegant vase shape. With a built-in planter at the top of the waterbutt, the RainBowl Flower allows all manner of colour, beauty and fragrant scents to be planted on top and complement the contemporary design of the unit itself.
Perfect for adding a water butt to your garden and not compromising gardening space, this space saving waterbutt is ideal for passionate gardeners with limited space. The planting depth is approximately 18cm. There is a single drainage hole on a slighly raised surface in the center of the planting area. The hole is approximately 2.5cm in diameter. Gardeners should cover the hole with garden fabric, stones, pebbles etc (just as you would a clay pot) before adding compost, it from falling into the water butt whilst still allowing for drainage for the plants.
Manufactured from UV stabilised, weather resistant plastic. Colours available in the Classic Colour Collection: Slate Grey and Blue Grey Granite. Taupe colour now discontinued.
The Blue Grey Granite colour has a slight fleck in it that gives a highly realistic finish. It is a stunning colour finish that changes from blue to grey in different lights.
Also great for gardens in areas that flood as it can be used as a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) planter in a Rain Garden to help slow the flow of stormwater.
The RainBowl Flower is sealed unit so it is especially important to keep the unit free from sludge and debris as it is not possible to access for cleaning. We recommend that you connect the Rainbowl Flower to your downpipe with a Rainwater Diverter that has an integral filter - like the the 3P Filter Collector (see below).
Optional Extras
Rainwater Diverter
We recommend installing the 3P Filter Collector with your Rainbowl Flower Water Butt. The Filter Collector connects your Water Butt to your Downpipe via the 30cm length of Hose (that comes with this water butt) and also filters the water, removing any debris, before transferring the water into the tank. The Filter Collector is ideal for roof areas up to 90m2 (other filters are available for larger roof areas).
The 3P Filter Collector can be chosen in the options above and included with your order at a reduced price when purchased with the Water Butt.
If you would prefer your Rainbowl Flower water butt to be positioned further away from your downpipe, you will need a additional Push Fit Long Link Kit of a length suitable for your location.
Tank to Tank Connection Kit
A Water Butt Linking Kit can be purchased to join two Water Tanks together using the lower 3/4" brass threaded port.
How to link water tanks together
If you already have a wall tank (or other water butt with a 3/4 inch BSP female threaded connection point near the base of the tank) you can purchase a 3/4" Tank to Tank Connection Kit.
